Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible for ScienceLink wage subsidy funding, you must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- currently unemployed and collecting Employment Insurance (EI),
- have collected regular EI in the last three years, OR
- had a maternity/parental leave claim in the last five years.
Residency Requirement:
You must, furthermore, reside in one of the following areas:
- Vancouver,
- Richmond,
- Burnaby,
- New Westminster,
- North Shore,
- Tri Cities (Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody),
- Maple Ridge,
- Pitt Meadows,
- Surrey,
- Sunshine Coast or Howe Sound corridor.
