Job Description
Advanced Cyclotron Systems Inc. (ACSI) is a growing business and is looking for an experienced individual to take on the role of Manufacturing Manager. Management experience in an Engineering and/or Manufacturing environment is preferred, as is experience with ERP systems. Good organizational/time management skills and the ability to work under pressure to achieve strict deadlines are a must.
Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare production schedules for each cyclotron project to achieve contracted completion dates , as well as development of production reporting procedures to facilitate in the analysis of data and information on each project
- Assist the General Manager , as needed, with cash flow forecasting for each cyclotron project, as well as the analysis of cost and quality data
- Assist Project Managers/Engineers with schedule updating and resource allocation
- Coordinate, between Engineering, Purchasing and Manufacturing, the managed release of the various parts and assemblies of the cyclotron system for expeditious procurement and receiving of all purchased items, (including cyclotron sub-assemblies and major assemblies). This includes close coordination with ACSI inventory staff for the receiving of inventory and the allocation and issuance of parts to cyclotron projects using ACSI’s ERP system.
- Facilitate the coordination of personnel, including subcontractors, required for cyclotron assembly, test, disassembly, and shipping processes
- Assist in the enhancement of the ISO9001 and ISO13485 Quality Assurance system
- Logistic support, which includes shipping, insurance, installation, commissioning and testing of cyclotron systems
Required Skills
- ISO knowledge on getting and keeping compliance
- Logistics and planning experience
- Experience with designing and implementing processes from the drawing stage all the way through to commissioning on the clients site (this can be overseas, the US, Canada).
