We offer various career documents and advice for individuals seeking new careers, from executives and mid-level to new graduates. These include: resume writing; LinkedIn profiles; cover letters; bios; and job search strategies.
For those unsure of where they want to go, we offer career assessment and coaching.
You will be asked to send us your current resume, cover letter, job postings and any other information you may have that will be relevant to creating your customized resume and cover letter. This could include a copy of your last performance appraisal and/or anything that showcases your accomplishments, awards and contributions. It is important to note that all information provided is accurate and truthful.
We will schedule a one hour resume strategy session, either in-person or by phone, to ensure that we have everything that we need to begin working with you.
The turnaround time for your first draft will be approximately 10 to 15 days, after supplying the relevant information.
We will provide 2 rounds of editing and, once you have approved the draft, we will finalize your project and send you Word, PDF and ATS (for online applications) versions.
Similarly to LinkedIn, Twitter is an online social networking service that enables users to share information, connect with individuals, and follow organizations to receive up-to-date company information and job postings. Unlike LinkedIn, any information that is shared, or “tweeted”, can only be 140 characters long and you can follow anyone, rather than having to be accepted as a connection.
Job seekers should follow companies that they want to work for and people who work for those companies. Twitter is less formal than LinkedIn so you can reply to, favourite or re-tweet (share) individual’s tweets more readily than you would do on LinkedIn (while still maintaining a professional image). There are also numerous job-search Twitter accounts that you can follow to receive immediate notifications of new postings.
