Wage funding

FutureWorks offers excellent wage funding programs that benefit both the employer and the new employee.  Since 1997 our funding programs have placed over 3,500 candidates in growing companies throughout the Lower Mainland. We do this by referring candidates from our existing database of qualified candidates, or we work with eligible candidates recruited and referred to our program by an employer.

 

FutureWorks administers government funded grants for employers hiring eligible candidates through three programs:  ScienceLink, JobFit and WorkStart.  There is no cost for qualified employers to participate in this program.

 

The ScienceLink program subsidizes science and technology related positions, while the JobFit program supports other areas of the workforce including trades, office administration, marketing and sales positions.  Through the WorkStart program FutureWorks provides support to employers hiring youth between the ages of 15 and 30.

 

Interested employers can register with our wage funding services.  Once registered, a FutureWorks consultant will contact you to discuss how the wage subsidy works.
