Not much longer now…
As the Vancouver 2010 Games quickly approach, our office (located right downtown) made a few adjustments so we can continue providing our services to our jobseekers and employers. Our last info session was held yesterday, and we will continue our info sessions for new clients as per usual the first week of March. In an effort to see as many jobseekers before it became increasingly difficult for them to get to the downtown core, we had extra info sessions the weeks leading up to The Games.
Because of our extra info sessions, we will have the weekly employer newsletter as per usual (Every Thursday at 10 am). We have interviewed enough candidates to provide employers with eligible jobseekers through the month of February.
Our office will be open through the month of February with the exception of Friday, February 12th due to the Opening Ceremonies. We will be checking our voicemail that day, so if you do have someone you’d like to hire or have found an employer who wants to hire you with funding, we will get back to you as soon as we can that day. The rest of the month, there will be staff in the office to answer questions, refer out resumes and speak with employers and jobseekers.
