According to Wikipedia, this is the definition of outplacement:
Outplacement is a term used to describe the efforts made by a downsizing company to help its redundant employees through the redundancy transition and help them re-orientate to the job market.
In addition to providing wage funding to local employers, we have a separate department within our organization that can provide employers with outplacement services for a fee.
FutureWorks has been providing outplacement services for hundreds of people over the last twelve years, and many of our clients are not aware that we offer this service. We are proud of this service and have had repeat business from companies in the technology, utilities, financial, biotechnology and sales industries.
