Our plans for The Vancouver 2010 Games
As our office is located right in the heart of Vancouver, we are finding it necessary to make some adjustments to our usual daily and weekly routine in the coming weeks. We are very close to the Granville Station Skytrain station, but be aware, the road closures have started already. Over the next two weeks we will be doing extra info sessions for newly registered jobseekers so they don’t have to worry about trying to get downtown in a timely fashion while The Games are on.
Our last info session before the Olympics will be February 2nd. And then we are back to our regular weekly schedule March 2nd, 2010.
What will stay the same? Everything else!
This means:
1) Wage funding will be available as per usual to employers during The Games.
2) The weekly newsletter will continue to go out every Thursday to our employers.
3) Our office will be open.
4) You can always call us when you have someone you’re going to hire OR you have landed a job with an employer during this time. We will definitely be able to provide the wage funding during this time.
